JUST discovered these Mixtapes on accident, A BOMB FELL ON MY HEAD SUCKA! Anyway, Fabric is a nightclub in London. By the looks at it they have some pretty dope Scenesters come through there. Since November 2001 they've been dropping compilation mixtapes done by their fav guest DJ's. These are the two newest editions, to the Fabriclive series.
Fabriclive 38, done up by DJ Craze, is HELLA DOPE. Shit's dope. Rite up my alley. It's a REAL good mix of hip-hop, electro, rock, Drum N Bass, and a lil BUST IT music("BUST IT" music is stuff mixed with everything that you just Do WHATEVER to).
Fabriclive 39 just dropped this month, it was mixed by DJ Yoda. I haven't got a chance to listen to this one yet, but please believe I'm gonna be on it like I'ma a ghost and it's haunted, heh. Here's the tracklisting for now:

I understand mothafuckas downloadin 50 Cent or Rick Ross, but AT LEAST SUPPORT GOOD MUSIC.
Since I won't be around a computer Friday (The normal SOTW day) and because I just can't keep it in. I'm posting this one early. Leave some feedback in the comments. Good choice for Sample of the Week? Does the song bring back a memory?

"LUPE FIASCO'S THE COOL," the chart-topping second album from 1st & 15th/Atlantic recording artist Lupe Fiasco, has been certified gold by the RIAA for sales exceeding 500,000. The critically acclaimed album – which features the hit singles, "Superstar (Feat. Matthew Santos)" and "Hip-Hop Saved My Life (Feat. Nikki Jean)" –debuted on Billboard's "Top Rap Albums" chart at 1 upon its December 2007 release, and remained in the peak position for nine weeks.
Lupe is currently on a major North American tour, supporting his longtime friend and associate Kanye West on his blockbuster "Glow In The Dark Tour." The trek is now lighting up arenas across the continent, with dates continuing through a June 13th finale at Cincinnati's US Bank Arena.
"Feels good when it happens like that. 2 days from goin back to sellin crack..."
OMG....TQ has a column over at ALL HIP-HOP. It's an L.A. "Laugh" RIOT(..okay that was a bad joke. SORRY!)!! He's telling the story of his music careeer. Now let me be the first to say that his song "Westside" is one of THE BEST songs period of all time. It dropped right after the slaying of the two most important figures thus far in this thing we call Hip-Hop, so he gets due props. And I'm a Fresh Coaster myself, so I love TQ. Anyway, this is an excerpt from part 1:
"......After “Westside” came and went, the Black Suits didn’t drop another single until six months later. “Bye Bye Baby” bricked in the U.S. cuz I wouldn’t come back to promote it. Before it came out, I remember I was at a convention buying drinks for and smoking out one of the most powerful radio consultants in the business. He told me how much he loved my sh*t but would NEVER play it because the head of radio at my company was banging his wife! He told me this to my face on the balcony! While he was smoking my weed! I wanted to throw his ass over! This is some bullshit!!
In Europe and Asia I was on my third single and second concert tour. F**k it! No need to come home, right?
Wrong. I had something to take care of. Sony Music Publishing was still sticking it to me. “We gotta renegotiate.” We did. “Gimmie my check, I got a long flight to catch.” Until Dr. Dre called up saying that he needed an opening act for a little tour that he was putting together called “Up In Smoke”… NI**A WHAT? Pencil me in big homie!
The rest of the world would have to wait! No airplay in the U.S., janky sales in the US, and my favorite producer of all time, a member my favorite group of all time, wants to put me on stage in front of 20,000 fans for 47 nights? The Black Suits are gonna love this!
They didn’t. They told me not to go on tour. Go back in the studio and record a new album. Take dance lessons and we’re gonna buy you some black suits lol! What? Yall ni**as still on this sh*t? That was the end. I told them to eat a d*ck and bounced up outta 550 Madison Ave like a Mannie Fresh beat.
We had some bread so I did it myself. I went on tour with Dre, Snoop, Cube, Ren, Mack 10, Dub C, Warren G, Eminem, Xzibit, and the Eastsidaz. It was the most memorable time in my career. I’ll never forget that sh*t. It was the greatest concert tour Black music has ever seen, but I no longer had a record deal…Now what?
Well a couple months before the tour, I had befriended two hustlers from way down in the jungle deep. Ronald and Brian a.k.a. the Williams brothaz… Maybe I should join the Army…Better yet the Navy.
But that’s another story…Tune in next time for the story of CMR…This should be interesting…"
I can't wait til the next DROP.
GO HERE for his entire first entry.

This guy is pretty good, song is pretty good, and the sample's dope as hell. But someone fill me in on what his problem is?
How is he gonna compare Cool Kids to the Pack?
Do you fools listen to music or just skim through it?
BEEF is not Hip-Hop. We're all in the same gang, yo. Stop the Violence.
The song isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It doesn't change the fact that for the most part Jordan's are DED to me anyways. But it's only a snippit, so who knows what the full song has in store. Also, I seriously hope the snippit video WASN'T Nelly's and was just some fanboy, bc if Nelly has some of the same J's as I do, and he's not on that super exclusive tip... I'd be a little disappointed.
EDIT: don't be disappointed fanboy lol would Nelly rock the PHILLY"S? think not. plus most of those boxes were size 8/9...pay more attention
What you guys think of the song? Leave a comment and let us know.
For those that don't know the story:
Deshawn Stevenson of the Washington Wizards called LeBron James “overrated.”
Lebron responded by telling media his responding to Stevenson’s comment would be like “Jay-Z responding to Soulja Boy.” The two went at it during the first three games of their playoff series with James almost single handedly defeating the Wiz in games 1 and 2.
Stevenson and company regrouped to take game 3, even inviting Soulja Boy, who was in attendance.
But leading up to game 4, James brought in reinforcements. According to the Washington Post, Hov has recorded a track for LeBron aimed at Stevenson and the Wizards. The song premiered at D.C. night spot Love on Friday night; the same location Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas celebrated his 25th birthday last year with a million-dollar bash. James hosted the party and he and teammates had fun at Stevenson’s expense. Stevenson, however, didn’t take too kind to word of the song.
“When I had Soulja Boy here, it was on the court. It was nothing disrespecting him or his family or even foul language,” he told the newspaper. “So I’m boycotting Love. Everybody on our team, we’re boycotting Love…. We’re not going no more. But I appreciate Jay-Z for giving me the shout out.”
Some might ponder, WTF is Jay-Z doing dissing some NBA player, when he will hardly go back at Cam'ron, Jim Jones, Everybody Else and Their Mother who disses him with slightly more popularity. (Very slightly, and yes I AM insulting DeShawn Stevenson by comparing him to Juelz Santana, and NO I won't apologize)
Here's what I've cooked up, Im not nearly as good of a conspiracy theorist as your boy Smizzy, so bear with me. James contract is either up or has an out in 2010 which means he could be a free agent and bounce to wherever or if he feels like Cleveland has been good to him, he can chill there for a while.
Jay-Z currently own the New Jersey Nets... a team that moves to Brooklyn in... dun dun dun...2010. What better way to rebuild and give the franchise a fresh start than by adding Lebron? So when 2010 rolls around and everybody offers him 393u523975twe teen Hundred billion dollars a year, Maybe that one time Jigga backed up him and let him throw his birthday party at the 40/40 in Vegas will tip the scales and make the difference. He'll feel obligated to sign with Brooklyn, forcing the cavs to miss the playoffs for another 13 years. Once you've got Lebron in a brand new arena in a huge market like Brooklyn, they'll have all the moneyz in the world to bring whoever they want to back up Lebron causing 12 titles in 13 seasons, besting the celtics to become the greatest DYNASTY EVER. Because A DIAMOND IS FOREVER SUCKA!
P.S. I wonder if we get a soulja boy diss track next. Then Jigga and Soulja boy get into a battle, Jay-Z calls in a favor and Nas "Ehter's" soulja boy, and Hip Hop LIVES! The cycle would be complete once Lebron asks Jay-Z if he can be make an album and Jigga slaps the fuck out of him and says "You play basketball, I rap. Hip Hop Sucks as it is." lol...
Could the NBA save Hip-Hop. Now I'm getting out of hand.

This CANNOT be real..umm..this is from her blog:
"Everyone who has been on this ride with me since the beginning and continues to be a supporter of music that makes you feel something true and vulnerable and honest by being just that.
It's been a wonderful and awful journey all at the same time. Mostly leaning towards the wonderful part..lol.
Thank you for letting me share what I could with you and sharing yourselves back, as you have really been the reason that I kept on.
It's always nice to know that you could be the voice of someone who didn't have one, or know just how to say it.
No comment or letter or statement of appreciation has ever gone unnoticed.
I love to write, I love to be able to create imagery and a world out of just words.
I will always love what I consider to be true hip hop music... from the bottom of my soul.
I hope you will continue to distinguish those who are contributors to the evolution of hip hop and other black music as both an auditory stimulation and a culture, taking care that they are put in a position to do so.
Thank you listeners, whom I consider my friends and family....
Enjoy.... see y'all around..
It's been amazing.. thank you again.
peaces.." - The Jeanius
I don't really believe this and I HOPE this is just some kinda clever plot or else just frustration...This can't be real like Marsha sang on Freeway's new album.
If it is....this is a SAD SUNDAY in music.

Umm....Acronyms(LMAO, LOL, ROFL) cannot express how hard I laughed when I saw this..I just happened upon this..but apparently Coolio is now a chef and has a cooking video blog. Um.....I guess he didn't make quite enough off gangster's paradise and the Kenan and Kel show intro...-SMH- ANYWAY..
Two white guys thought it would be fun to spew racial slurs to a group of African-Americans in Montreal. JUST WATCH..
Apparently, some other caucasian patrons decided to jump in on the Murder-Frenzy and stomp the two idiots out too!!! That's why I love Canada. Everyone joins together to LITERALLY fight for justice and equality. Captain Planet. He's our hero.
What's fucked up is that it's not really that funny. But that's what makes this clip hilarious.
Two favorite parts "It's about the sweet talk too" and the audience member. YAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! What is your favorite part. Leave a comment and let us know.

Shirt looks dope. Selling for $40 over HERE. Also love the "Rap - Lies = Hip-hop" but it's womens. Not sure what the difference is. I might just cop both.
Either way, Limited edition, so ACKRITE NOW!
Also According to Wikipedia:
his music was sampled by Redman (He based his Sooperman Luva saga on Johnny "Guitar" Watson's Superman Lover song),Ice Cube, Eazy-E, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Jay-Z, and Mary J. Blige. He sometimes would enter the studio with rappers, at their request. Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre borrowed P-Funk's adaptation of Watson's catchphrase "Bow Wow Wow yippi-yo yippi-yay" for Snoop's hit "What's My Name."
I was going to wait until MAY to post this, because that is when the festivals all write back and then ya'll would realize exactly what you're messin with but the director told me not to wait. By the way, it's already been accepted to the UK Swansea Bay film festival, EARRRRLLLYY (c) Freeway.
Elijah, also known as Ellipsis, feels connected to his past. The elements of his childhood start to play key roles in a recurring vision that affects the aspiring musician on another plane; a place that separates the norm from extraordinary.

I love art. I love magazines. I love creative, intelligent, trendy bafoonery. OneOneNine is the reason why I can have all three of these at once. I'm copping my issue right now. It's just a magazine with different art and graphic design in it. Steve Green and Justin Kay, two curators for a label called upnorth, are the brains behind oneonenine. The picture above is the cover for issue three which just came out. The ones below are for Issue 2. Issue 3 is titled "there's no i in team." Just DOPE.

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted, been alil' busy. Anyway. Like the wait of a Fresh new post, I've been waitin' for this group Atmosphere to bust out with a new CD for a while. A quick FYI for yall that don't know 'em. It's two white boys, one raps, the other produces. The white boy that raps, his name is Slugg, and that muthafucka is good. The white boy that produces, his name is Ant, and that muthafucka is good. Put it like this, the group is so good, that they constantly get offers from big label-heads all the time, but they'd rather stay true to their music n stay underground. Gotta respect that. It's been a few years since the group from Rhymesayers Ent., givin' fans a few teasers, but they've finnaly brought out somethin' for soundscan (no pun intended.)
One of my favs from H.N.I.C 2... that hook hits
Mad he cut out the intro though...
"Yo, if you the first one to come down off that shit...you can go in niggas pockets"
and for the record it's "On the real, all you crab niggas know the deal" - nasir jones

Tracks like these gives me hope for Hip-Hop. People are seeing the light, no longer fooled by the camera tricks these fruit loops pullin.

Skateboard P. was in the studios at Kube93 in Seattle this past weekend, promoting the Glow In The Dark tour's opening nite out here in Sea-Town. He also spoke about N.E.R.D's upcoming album, 3rd in their collection, Seeing Sounds. Interesting, yo. Check the Manuscript.
This might be old, I don't even know. All I know is, I heard it today for the first time, and all I could say was WTF?
Who makes a song like this? Then I couldn't stop laughing that someone actually made a song like this.
I don't want to turn into TMZ and update the latest status of Jessica Simpson's Tuna Chicken Adventure with her new Boyfriend of the day or anything, but this goes along with Your Friend and Mine, Jay Smart's Theory that the rapper is actually gay!
West’s fiancee of almost two years, designer Alexis Phifer, and the superstar rapper have gone their separate ways, the designer herself confirmed to People.
“They’d been having problems,” a friend of the rapper told People. “Kanye is really focused on his show; he’s putting everything into the show right now. Alexis is a nice girl, but Kanye has been going through a rough time. They hit a rough patch and for now they’ve split.”
What do you guys say? Did she find out what our Smart friend has known for a long time, or is Smizzy just crazy? Let us know in the comments.
First WOW! Domestic violence isn't funny. This video sure-the-fuck is though. Second, call that number if you're getting that ass righteously whipped. If you don't... your funeral beezy.

The G Mix
this is the best use of this sample. Ever. This song will never get old. EVER.
Now todays 420 challenge is to see if you can make it through the original song's video. The whole thing

I'm gonna start a thing where I post a picture, video, or song and you'll need to Google it somehow and YOU figure out what it is. The video will be kinda too easy since it's alredy linked from Youtube. I'll try to find videos that are only segments or that are one of many from the same person, that way you can find the rest of their material. Here's the first.
Google it Sucka!
