If you haven't heard this track yet. You're in a cave. I was in a cave on purpose. I wasn't excited to hear this. Every blog and forum I happened upon decided it was a terrible song.
This really got me going. The hater inside me wanted to come out for this song. But he started nodding his head and I realized. This is a good song. The Autotune isn't over the top T-pain excessive, and so what if Kanye wants to sing? Mothafuckas can't win for losing out here.

ReplyDeleteI'm not saying it's next level or near love below (merely a surface comparison). I'm just saying it's different for 'Ye and his fans want to keep him in his box. Nobody seemed to like Graduation either because it wasn't college dropout.
I'm just trying to unwrap the whole thing in my head between do we want A dude makes the same album over and over. (Say... The Game's new album which seems to be getting positive reviews all around but is terrible and redundant imo) or get mad because Kanye is trying something different and maybe not suceeding at the best of his abilities.
I dunno. Either way. I like the track. I don't think it's the worst thing ever. But maybe I went in with low expectations.
