Obama is starting to scare me. I'm not about to run off and vote John McCain or nothin. Hear me out. Obama has just announced he's open to drilling offshore for oil if it means the two parties can reach an agreement although he was mostly opposed to it in the first place (truthfully) saying it does nothing to help lower gas prices. Now he's just said we should leak some of that good shit from the nations oil reserve.
I haven't studied extensively on any of the subjects really, (you shouldn't have to, it's kind of common knowledge. I think.) but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express one time. The point is neither of these "resolutions" does anything long term. Obama has included that tid bit in his latest speech. So why cave now? I get the politics game. McCain has got almost nothing on Obama. He's gotta come up with some curveball shit. McCain should know DAMN WELL that it's got no purpose but if he tricks a few people into believing this will help them in the wallet, boom there's a few votes. Obama figures he changes sides for now the people are like ok cool, vote obama. And then hopefully he's like SIKE I just needed some votes. Which I have a problem with, but that's politics, so whatchu gonna do.
Look at what's happening with all this oil panic. People are buying hybrids like crazy, people are taking the bus every day (myself included), people use less gas period. Nobody thinks about shit until they are forced to. Necessity is mother invention. If people have no other option. They will do the right thing. Don't bail them out now. If gas goes down. The hype is over and the problem is just delayed for a few years.
Saturday night, I was with the usual party crew, only this time tiffLOC brought a friend with her (cute too! Good job, Tiff! lol). Start a usual drunk conversation, she's graduating in Environmental Science (no tree homo though). We struck up a conversation about oil. She confirmed my suspicions on all this. Folks. THERE IS NO MORE OIL! We got a lil bit left. Unless we start making the shit artificially, we're done.
The problem isn't something Obama, or McCain or any ONE person can fix. So you can save yourself all this trouble about worrying about that part. It's called budget. If you can't afford the gas, find cheaper rent, take the bus, get a better car, carpool, buy a few pairs less of Jordans, have a few less drinks at the bar. Whatever. Be SMART. Change starts with YOU. Even though Obama is the only one saying this, everyone else is going to pick up on the bold print and that's the problem.
Be an example.

WE'RE MOVING SOON. DON'T PAY US ANY ATTENTION. THIS VERSION OF DROP-BOMB is officially DEAD.
