I'm not going to get into the politics of it all, but the film was more biased than it needed to be. The pretzel incident, while hilarious, isn't really necessary for the plot attempt at who this man really is, and what he believed and the things that led to some important decisions for the United States. Neither is him visiting the soldiers looking like a doofus. I can appreciate a cheap laugh. But from the man who did JFK and Nixon, you expect a little better.

At the same time showing deep discussions of a guy who just wanted to make his dad proud, and confused about life growing up, and his rebirth. Stuff that's supposed to be in a biopic. I feel they could have included more of these war room discussions, more evil swindling dick cheney who's exit plan consisted of "We DON'T exit." More MEAT.

Go for the laughs, stay for the impressions. The movie was obviously rushed to be done for November and perhaps this one would have been better served waiting for the Bush legacy to actually conclude and then maybe the movie would have an ending as well. Just my thoughts.

Hahahahaha. Ironic that you say you're not going to get into the "politics" of it all. LOL.

I don't think it was that biased though. The movie was about him, so it's not about what he did with the war. The movie isn't about his campaign, it's about HIM. So you got all the meat you need for a big ass barbecue, PARTNER.
