How can one artist be so god damn inconsistent. Lots of people forget Joe was holdin his own in DITC and his FAT JOE DA GANGSTA days. Even his All or Nothing album was worth the purchase IMO but nothing lately. Well Cook Coke himself goes the fucc "N" on this latest joint with "Infamous" on the beats killing the Jimi Hendrix Sample.

Just an excerpt:
"Jake One: There’s a couple other projects I’m working on bringing to them that would definitely shock people, so hopefully next year we’re going to see those come to fruition. There’s a lot of songs recorded but there’s nothing set in stone yet, so I don’t want to throw something out there that people are going to ask me about that doesn’t happen [laughs] I’ve been dealing with [Rhymesayers] for a minute, and there’s definitely a family atmosphere over there, no pun intended. I believe in what they do, I appreciate the way they handle business the way they pushed the record. It’s kind of a lost art. A lot of the indie labels at this point are so strapped for cash that they don’t have the staff to pull off the kind of leg work that they can do. And they have a really serious brand that I’m contributing to as well.
AllHipHop.com: So what do you have confirmed for 2009?
Jake One: There’s a couple things I’m working on that are potentially really, really big. But I’ve got a couple songs on the new Prodigy album, I’m on Scarface’s new album, De La Soul should be 2009. I’m doing a lot of work on Freeway’s new record, although where that’s coming out has yet to be determined."

I wasn't going to put any more music from their album up unless they asked, but they just put this song up on myspace so I figure they want it out there and I think if the previous song "Sun Don't Shine" didn't convince you that this is one of the best groups in Seattle, this song will. Every guy can relate.

Big shout out to the homie CHA CHA! lol. I JUST HAPPENED to see this in the Stranger today as I was waiting for my food. I couldn't believe it. The battle was apparently a week or two ago. Homeboy goes in on the dance floor. Come congratulate him on the victory tonight at the big tune beat battle!
Big-big-BIGGEST congrats to Jahdi and Cha Cha who swept the War Room floor at Rords of the Froor VI—taking home this ginormous Space Needle shot-glass trophy, $1,500, and the prized title of "(Drunk) Breakdancing Champion(s) of the World." Most people can't figure out how to take off their own shoes or fire up a 7-Eleven microwave after drinking as many shots as they did, so watching them fly into head spins on a supercrowded floor full of screaming drunken spectators was nothing short of INSPIRATIONAL. Yessiree. I don't know how they do it.
Jahdi says, "This is my first battle ever, and I am drrr-RUNK!"

Last night The bomb squad hit up the Red Bull Big Tune Film Screening event and concert. Brainstorm (of Dyme Def) showed the short film of his victory last year in which he got to record and feature on a track with Young Buck. If you don't know what I'm talking about:
Big Tune is the passionate vision and venture of DJ/producer/emcee-Vitamin D and Hip Hop visionary/event producer - Jonathan Moore, which began in 2004 with the purpose of bringing emerging and established talent to the forefront. After three years of hosting thriving local battles in Seattle, they forged a creative partnership with Red Bull. The event evolved beyond a beat battle into what it is today... a dynamic national producer program.
Seahawks wide receiver Nate Burleson is out for the season because of a knee injury.
Burleson tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee while trying to cut outside on a pass pattern on a rain-slicked field in Buffalo on Sunday during Seattle's 34-10 loss in its season opener.
Coach Mike Holmgren said his team will also again be without veteran receivers Deion Branch and Bobby Engram for this Sunday's game against San Francisco. Branch is seven months into recovery for reconstructive knee surgery similar to what Burleson now faces. Engram may be out into October with a broken shoulder.
Seattle has three healthy receivers on its roster. Holmgren says the team may sign a veteran free agent before practice on Wednesday.
Starting running back Maurice Morris will also miss at least the next two games with a sprained knee. Former Dallas lead runner Julius Jones will start against the 49ers.
Resident Blogger and Fan Favorite Jay Smart of the BOMB SQUAD is turning 21 TODAY! I know that's shocking because he looks like he's 30 already. haha. It's all good. I look like I'm 12, so I ain't talkin shit tho. Facts.
We're going to be getting him drunk as possible at the Shark Club in Kirkland tonight. Shout out to Tia Bia's Bitch ass. lol. Jk I love you girl. Sometimes.
Anyway, if you see a bunch of drunken fools come Holla at us and buy Smizzy a drink because you know you love our blog. Check back later for the drunkin asshole photos of this guy. haha you know we're gonna get him right.
