In Honor of Ciara, I present the sample of the week. I was trying to find something for Dracula's Wedding (because I'll be at my brothers wedding all weekend) but don't think they used any samples on it. If anyone knows anything differently please feel free to correct me. So I went to the next thing on my mind. FAT BOOTY. lol. Well, that's pretty much always on my mind, and I know Ciara ain't the fattest, but hey, I just wanted to post that picture again.
Biter: Mos Def - Ms Fat Booty
Writer: Aretha Franklin - One Step Ahead
Like I said I'll be at Draclua's wedding this weekend and everyone else will likely be at Rock the Bells over the weekend, so don't expect too much posting going on over here.
WE'RE MOVING SOON. DON'T PAY US ANY ATTENTION. THIS VERSION OF DROP-BOMB is officially DEAD.

Sample of the Week! (Mos Def)
August 15, 2008
R.I.P. Jerry Wexler
If the name's not familiar, Jerry Wexler was a music producer and writer for BillBoard magazine early and became a partner in Atlantic Records by 1953. He invented the term Rhythm and Blues, signed Led Zepplin, worked with Aretha Franklin (see picture), Ray Charles (was portrayed in the movie), Bob Dylan and more. In 1987 he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and was interviewed in the 1999 Documentary Immaculate Funk. His influence has forever shaped the music industry into what it is today.
