SNSS #201 - BANG BANG!

Fresh off last week's 200th edition of SNSS, we're hitting you over the head with another dope show, this time, packed full of exclusive joints that I believe we world premiered Sunday on KUBE. In today's internet age, the traditional idea of 'exclusives' has pretty much gone out the window, and regardless, I've never even been that big a fan of the whole notion anyway. Simply because a DJ plays something first, doesn't make it worthwhile ("NEW SOULJA BOY!!!!").

Instead, this past week, we ran some great songs that the general public just hasn't heard yet, but everyone will probably have soon. Some of them will be included on our upcoming Cornerstone Mixtape (with some other exclusives), but who knows if they'll leak before that drops in May.

Speaking of which, DJ B-Mello, J. Moore, and I finished up the mixtape last night (shout to Taybot and L for the engineering assistance!) and it sounds fresh. Looking forward to y'all hearing it, but for now, peep the show and some world premieres from Fashawn (prod. Exile), Roddy Rod ft. Phonte & Carlitta Durand, Asher Roth, and Tanya Morgan ft. Blu.
[Kanye] Good music definitely in the building! [/Yeezy]

Sunday Night Sound Sessions #185

Yo I know sometimes I haven't been posting the link but the last few have been took down from blogger. So I decided I'm not gonna post the tracklist because maybe that's what's drawing the red flags. Besides, you shouldn't need the tracklist anyway, it's all gonna be dope fresh and you KNOW THIS MAAAANNN (c) Smokey

Hyphen and J Moore were joined in the studio by Geologic from the Blue Scholars. Along with laughing at the crazy callers, Geo was in the building to talk about the upcoming Blue Scholars and Common Market shows at the end of the week here in Seattle. If you're in the town, you better be coming through Neumo's Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday night to see two of our most talented groups tear it down like they always do.

Glasses Malone and Mistah F.A.B., also dropped in before performing at the Star Bar that night, so be on the lookout for that part of the show too!

Otherwise, stay up to date on everything on Hyphen's bloggy blogg (which will have the tracklist posted as well) - http://www.theaudacityofdope.com. (hint: some dope Murs video will be posted tomorrow...)

AND IM STILL WAITING FOR HYPH TO GET THE HOOK UP WITH APPLE AND PUT THIS ON A PODCAST! See if you can put someone at KUBE on the case, it can ONLY increase the popularity of the show and the station.
