Best Buy: Madden Challenge

So the Madden demo CRACKS off 08 all day. The holographic simulator thing is kinda booji, cuz it doesn't let you switch around on pass defense, and the run defense is pretty damn hard. Then you have to lead the Giants to victory over the pats in the Super Bowl with 1 minute left and a 4th and 1 count to start.

EVERYTHING on this game has been re vamped, re done and re re re done. For madden fans, you have to experience it yourself.

Anyway, the Best Buy Madden Tourney schedule was released. As usual Seattle gets NO LOVE.

NIKE CUTS AIR STABS in Response to Violence in UK

Due to more than 5,000 stabbings across London this year, and an incident about a week ago where two shoplifters stabbed an employee while they were trying to get away. Nike has decided to RECALL the Nike Air Stabs.

Crimestoppers, the crime fighting charity, said it was “astonished that a major retailer such as Nike could be this naïve and act so irresponsibly with its marketing. With the current gun and knife epidemic that is sweeping our country we would expect retailers to be taking a more sensitive approach to promoting products to a young and impressionable market.”

Brooke Dunford, the organiser of a recent anti-knife rally and a friend of Ben Kinsella, the 16-year-old who was stabbed to death in London last month, told The Times that the name Air Stab made her “sick to the stomach”.

“What are they trying to promote?” she said.

What are they going to do with the Nike PocketKnife's?



Apparently Nothing:

Nike continues to sell a shoe range called Pocketknife online and yesterday defended the brand name. “It's an ACG, or all-conditions gear shoe,” said the spokesman. “You can fold it up and put it in your rucksack. It's all about camping and being outdoors.”
