Get that "Rebirth" Outta HERE!!!!!!

So Lil Weezy-We's rock album titled the “Re-birth” might get pushed back like a lay-up against Bill Clinton in NBA JAM for the Sega Genesis (act like you don't remember)...
The poor response and overwhelming common sense is pushing the label to try and stale this Project from coming out….

Reportedly label insiders (who are these people… fire these muthfuck@a) has said, "If Wayne doesn't brighten up, they have to turn into Mr. Evil Record Company and just tell him it's never going to be released."

I smell Lil Rock-a-Weezy going indie for this one… how ironic.

HeavyWeight Fight (Literally.) 50 Cent VS Rick Ross.. 50 - Officer Ricky

Before I post the song.  Why would people diss 50 so close to his album release?  If they want him to fail, they'd not give him momentum.  And especially NOW when it seems like everybody is countin' him out.

Anyway.  Since the Saigon / Budden beef ended so abruptly.  I'll be keepin' score on this one.  And both warning shots sound nice.  "Officer Rickeyyy!"  Hey Mike.  Doesn't that part remind you of some ol' school 50?  That part when he's like... "Take a look at my wheeeelz!"  Lol!

"Have my niggas whoop the skin off you in broad day?" - 50

OFFICIAL SCORECARD
(Ferrari F ) 50 Cent    - 10
Rick (The Boss) Ross - 10

Even though both tracks were enjoyable, there wasn't any huge blows here.  Ross didn't make that burnin' of the house down line as tough as it coulda been.  And 50 likes to warm up 1st.  Except against Cam'Ron, he just ate him up.

50 Talkin' 'bout the Diss Record (Play This On The Radio), Wayne, Kanye, The Industry, Oprah

I hope this turns into somethin', hopefully Wayne'll get off that vocoder shit n rap.  N he can't just brush this one off like he's Gillie n say "He's not big enough."

Just Incase to didn't hear the diss record. Here you go. It's pretty decent. He throws in alil' Ferrari F 50 Style, lol.

Lil Wayne vs Skip Bayless

Battling Sports? lol.

I hope he doesn't think the glasses make him look smart though.

Biggest Winner of 08 Award

Need I say more??  Like really.  This demon bastard was everywhere.  Even Obama lost the race to this muthafucka here.  As far as rap goes.  This thing wasn't even this much when them West Coast rappers used it back in the East VS West days.

Soulful Sundaes: Gorilla Zoe - Lost

You know...it's not super deep, and he doesn't need to sing...but as least he got some help on the hook from whoever that girl is. Good job for Zoe. I'm happy to see more mainstream artists trying to switch up their schtick.

Lil Wayne is on the song too btw. Props to Zoe for not using Wayne for the video. Get your money by your lonely player.

Uh Huh.

Keri Hilson feat. Lil Wayne - Turnin Me On

I like the vibe of the song. Or maybe I just like the vibe of Keri Hilson. No, I like both. Either way she is a more talented, better looking version of Rihanna in my opinion. I hope her album finally drops soon.

She could get it something CRITICAL....

Sheezus.

Sample of the Week: (Willy North Pole)

So I felt like dropping a sample in the middle of the week because I'm pissed off that I didn't get to do the one I wanted to last week and because I can't find anything else to put on here at the minute.

This song was always dope to me. It came out right in between Carter 1 and 2 and wayne was JUST getting his flow down perfect. TI kills his verse and the girls are on point.

Writer: Destiny's Child ft Lil Wayne & TI - Soldier

How come every god damn time this damn willy north pole video comes on mtv or something, it NEVER shows the artist and credits? That's the only video ever to do that. lol. Anyway, they take Weezy's verse and chop it up for a pretty dope sample. Lil Wayne: Most sampled hip-hop artist? Next to biggie? (that's a jay-z joke.)

Willy North Pole - Body Marked Up

At 2:30: "I'm in the club with them thangs that POW POW, thug, turn around and keep dancin to bow wow."

What a coincidence... Cuz I'm in the club with my girl's ass thats like POWWWWWWWW POWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

hahahahahaha. Seriously. We call her pow pow.

URB Magazine Reviews 808's & Heartbreak

In basketball, they call it a "heat check." Kobe Bryant has just hit eight shots in a row, so he pulls up from 35 feet just because he's open, just because he can, just to see how hot he really is. Most of the time, these shots tend to clang off the side of the rim. Kanye West's 808s & Heartbreak is that.

There is almost no rapping on 808s & Heartbreak. Only a particularly villainous guest spot from Young Jeezy could qualify as actual rhyming. And it's an album highlight. And yes, Kanye uses autotune throughout the entire album.

Whether those same fans will buy into Kanye's heat check is unknown, but the idea is so focused (and occasionally flirting with monotony), that they'll be forced to tear it off the wall...either to stomp on and throw in the trash or steal it for their own wall.

So essentially if you fux with Love Lockdown, You'll likely fux with the album.

The Best Rapper Alive - Vibe Magazine

I remember when this was going on at first and then I forgot about it. It's the finals week and it's down to Jay-Z vs Eminem.

Which is a respectable final. But let's look at the process it took to get here.

Final 4 / Elite 8:

Jay-Z > Kanye West
Eminem > Nas
Ludacris > Lil Wayne
The Game > Andre 3000

You can make an argument for all of these. Except THE GAME over Andre 3000. smh. That's all I can do. Everyone is sippin the Game juice right now. His album is getting amazing reviews everywhere I turn from normally level headed people. I think I need to listen to it again. Maybe it's just The Drop-Bomb Crew that thinks the shit sucks. Except for Fresh. He probably loves it. lol.

T-Pain ft. Lil Wayne - Can’t Believe It (Video)

I'm usually coming to the defense of wayne. But this shits just horrible man. He just mumbles his verse. I didn't hear a damn thing he said. smh.

Swag Like Us - Jay-z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, T.I.

Uhh... Let the hype begin.

A single from TI's upcoming album. Produced by Kanye.

UPDATE and BUMP:
While the drop-bomb crew was off having one of the most incredible nights in seattle history. The song leaked and was promptly served with Cease and Desist and taken down from zshare. I have a copy and I'm listening to it. It samples MIA's Paper Planes for the chorus. AS you can imagine, the song is called swagger like us.

Don't worry too much though. The song isn't the ultimate dream team amazing superfuck everyone wanted it to be. So if you missed it, it's nothing you need to have right now. So since I don't want my ass sued. I'm not putting the link up here. Go to some other rundown bootleg bullshit blog for it.

UNLESS you want that emerald city dvd on bootleg. lol. 5 dollas! HOLLA!

XXL october 08 edition: WEEZY

Shouldn't they put him on MARS instead of the moon? But I digress...
