Don't believe the hype! When I started the show the other night we were having a lot of technical issues due 2 the heat. The 2 huge screens on both sides of the stage were glaring bright blue like when your DVD player acts up at home. I asked for them 2 turn the screens off 3 times because it was distracting 2 the show. The fans were not getting what they paid for. I admit, in my frustration, I did use profanity on the 4th time I asked. I stopped the show 2 go over and check it out myself. After the screens were turned off I started the same song from the beginning. The screens were eventually fixed 5 songs in but it was definitely better 2 have them blacked out rather than bright blue. Unfortunately for certain media outlets, you will never be able 2 'Michael Jackson' me. That means 2 make it seem like everything I do is so weird or out of place... they always try 2 make it seem like everything is about my ego! That joke is getting old. At a certain point you have 2 respect that I'm one of the last artist that still cares about the fans having the best time of there lives! Thanks 2 Bossip and Perez for taking it easy on me on the EW spaz... I did go in a little 2 much on that one. I'm sure there are some cool people who work over there and had nothing 2 do with that review. With all that said.... "I'm still the greatest!!!" lol!! Oh and I was in the studio with T.I. last night.... so get ready!!!

KANYE SAYS TO KILL YOURSELF!

So Yeezy got reviewed by Entertainment Weekly on the Glow In the Dark tour's Seattle jump-off show. They gave him a B+. I can't say that I completely disagree with the review..but the thing is there was ALOT of stuff that wasn't ready in time so we didn't get the FULL effect of the show. I think that is definitely what comes with the territory when you're on the FRONT STAGE of the ENTIRE WORLD. Everyone's eye is on Kanye right now, and I was a tad bit upset how the Seattle show went too, just because of what they SAID was going to be there. We didn't miss out on much, and we still got 4-5 hours of complete greatness, so it's all good. Anyway here is an excerpt from KANYE'S UNIVERSECITY BLOG:

..What's a B+ mean? I'm an extremist. It's either pass or fail! A+ or F-! You know what, fuck you and the whole fucking staff!!! I know I shouldn't dignify this with a comment, but the reviewer threw a jab at all the artists. I just wanna know when was the last time you enjoyed yourself. If you can't have fun and lose yourself at this tour it's a good chance you're a very miserable person. I actually feel sorry for you guys. Your job forces you to not have fun anymore. Grab a drink, holla at some nice girls, and party bitch!! You don't know shit about passion and art. You'll never gain credibility at this rate. You're fucking trash!...KILL YOURSELF!!

I don't want to turn into TMZ and update the latest status of Jessica Simpson's Tuna Chicken Adventure with her new Boyfriend of the day or anything, but this goes along with Your Friend and Mine, Jay Smart's Theory that the rapper is actually gay!

West’s fiancee of almost two years, designer Alexis Phifer, and the superstar rapper have gone their separate ways, the designer herself confirmed to People.

“They’d been having problems,” a friend of the rapper told People. “Kanye is really focused on his show; he’s putting everything into the show right now. Alexis is a nice girl, but Kanye has been going through a rough time. They hit a rough patch and for now they’ve split.”

Glow In The Dark Tour Opening Night Rundown

"Last night, I saw you in my dream. Now I can't wait to go to sleep."



A night to remember...at the least. Ok.. let's get it in

The show begins with Lupe Fiasco and the BLOOD GANG lol. They were dressed in all red. Him, Bishop G, Nikki Jean (who is beauty.), Sarah Green (who is stunning), Mathew Santos, and the background singers. Do you i guess. Anyway, no stranger to a Seattle crowd, Lupe put it down. Even though they hit him with the "yeah, we're gonna have you preform in front of the white curtain with nothing else behind you" action. He still gave a performance that left the crowd chanting his name. After the set, I talked to Bishop G, and he's gonna be working on an upcoming LP after the tour. Look out for that.

Next was N.E.R.D. They started off with a new song, which I'm sure will be on the net by the time they hit the 7th city. It was fire. They're performing in front of multiple LCD screens running graphics. Everybody in the band was hyped. They came with a couple FLY OR DIE cuts, but it was mostly that IN SEARCH OF...which was fine by me. Compton Ass Terry was on-stage. They had two drummers on opposite sides of the stage and had the ILLEST drum solo. Pharrell had issues with the smoke machine. Apparently he took some in and it effected his voice. I couldn't tell a difference. They served it! The crowd could have been a little more enthusiastic, but yeah, key performance. After the set, Pharrell came back on stage, because he was informed there were children in the audience. He apologized for using language not fit for their ears. He left with applause and awwww's. Stand up guy.

Your girl put it down. I was skeptical. She's a pop act. Uber-Pop though. Anyway, she had a huge neon circle with an R and a star in the middle. She and her dancers had on neon and black outfits.
they're set was a black backdrop with scaffolding on both sides. Huge red blue and yellow spotlights towards the front of the stage. She set it off in there though. We were sitting down, but there were these people GIGGING! This one lady was standing on a speaker box with wheels on the bottom and just dancing her precious heart out. This other cat was dancing in the aisle like he just took 3 triple stacks. He was getting off, with no remorse. She had an amazing stage performance with good dancers, and she was actually singing. What more could you ask for?


Space. The final frontier. Seriously though I don't want to spoil anything for you. My description won't do it justice. Moving stage. GAMMA smoke lol, LIGHTS GALORE, and glow in the dark Nikes (as seen above). CRAZY. It plays like a movie. He really feels himself on this one (when doesn't he), but he gives you your money's worth by far. I honestly left like "damn I'm bout to come see that again...Oh, wait it wasn't a movie". But yeah, I love JANE

I just want to let everyone know that the concert WAS all that and more. If you don't get a chance to go when it comes around to your city. You're definitely missing out. I'm thinking about hitting the portland show myself. I'm really at a loss for words this time people. I don't really know what to say other than Kanye is a GENIUS. or he surrounds himself around them. Chase Chad in the buidling..He shows love. EVEN if we have to TURN THAT ASS AROUND! =P Nikki Jean. She shows love. Sarah Green. She Shows love. Rihanna was on point from beginning to end. She has a voice..I doubted it..but now I see why everyone says shes better than Beyonce..she has A VOICE..man. N.E.R.D.........most energy of the night next to Ye..
Pharrell Was doin the SKANK!!! I think I got a video of it. Anyway....the band..oh man. but chyea. I'll add more to my summary of the concert later tonite. PEACE!
