Man. The last time I went to an all ages Too $hort show it was like 2003 or 2004. The shit was ridiculous. Place looked like a high school gymnasium all the lights stayed on, empty as fuck until $hort came out, then all the hoes went up on stage includin the one I was taking to the concert for my homie while he was on vaca. LOL bad timing. But I held it down. Bros before hoes so you know he had to find out that she went back to the hotel room with him. As her story goes they just "talked and smoked" but we all know better. lol. She promptly slapped my face pretty damn hard for snitchin but at least I would've died an honorable man. Word up. So I am probably gonna skip this one.
P.S. - I just updated the Concert list on the SIDE -->
Make sure you check it out, send me your flyers, and let me know if I'm missing anything.

Nelly - Bay
This song leaked out a few days ago and I thought it would be a worthy post. I'm generally a Nelly fan and think he's a little less pop than people might give him credit for but I digress...
This song is called "Bay" is Nelly impersonating and paying homage to some of his favorite Bay Area influences: Spice-1, Too Short, E-40. The beat is made by Droop-E (E-40's son).

Blow The Whistle - Jay-Z (Deshawn Stevenson Diss Track)
For those that don't know the story:
Deshawn Stevenson of the Washington Wizards called LeBron James “overrated.”
Lebron responded by telling media his responding to Stevenson’s comment would be like “Jay-Z responding to Soulja Boy.” The two went at it during the first three games of their playoff series with James almost single handedly defeating the Wiz in games 1 and 2.
Stevenson and company regrouped to take game 3, even inviting Soulja Boy, who was in attendance.
But leading up to game 4, James brought in reinforcements. According to the Washington Post, Hov has recorded a track for LeBron aimed at Stevenson and the Wizards. The song premiered at D.C. night spot Love on Friday night; the same location Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas celebrated his 25th birthday last year with a million-dollar bash. James hosted the party and he and teammates had fun at Stevenson’s expense. Stevenson, however, didn’t take too kind to word of the song.
“When I had Soulja Boy here, it was on the court. It was nothing disrespecting him or his family or even foul language,” he told the newspaper. “So I’m boycotting Love. Everybody on our team, we’re boycotting Love…. We’re not going no more. But I appreciate Jay-Z for giving me the shout out.”

Some might ponder, WTF is Jay-Z doing dissing some NBA player, when he will hardly go back at Cam'ron, Jim Jones, Everybody Else and Their Mother who disses him with slightly more popularity. (Very slightly, and yes I AM insulting DeShawn Stevenson by comparing him to Juelz Santana, and NO I won't apologize)
Here's what I've cooked up, Im not nearly as good of a conspiracy theorist as your boy Smizzy, so bear with me. James contract is either up or has an out in 2010 which means he could be a free agent and bounce to wherever or if he feels like Cleveland has been good to him, he can chill there for a while.
Jay-Z currently own the New Jersey Nets... a team that moves to Brooklyn in... dun dun dun...2010. What better way to rebuild and give the franchise a fresh start than by adding Lebron? So when 2010 rolls around and everybody offers him 393u523975twe teen Hundred billion dollars a year, Maybe that one time Jigga backed up him and let him throw his birthday party at the 40/40 in Vegas will tip the scales and make the difference. He'll feel obligated to sign with Brooklyn, forcing the cavs to miss the playoffs for another 13 years. Once you've got Lebron in a brand new arena in a huge market like Brooklyn, they'll have all the moneyz in the world to bring whoever they want to back up Lebron causing 12 titles in 13 seasons, besting the celtics to become the greatest DYNASTY EVER. Because A DIAMOND IS FOREVER SUCKA!
DREW
DOWN
P.S. I wonder if we get a soulja boy diss track next. Then Jigga and Soulja boy get into a battle, Jay-Z calls in a favor and Nas "Ehter's" soulja boy, and Hip Hop LIVES! The cycle would be complete once Lebron asks Jay-Z if he can be make an album and Jigga slaps the fuck out of him and says "You play basketball, I rap. Hip Hop Sucks as it is." lol...
Could the NBA save Hip-Hop. Now I'm getting out of hand.
