The genius behind his music is so snorlaxed on. That's WORD!!! And with Chad Hugo as executive producer, this was easily one of the best albums of the year. This was the closeout song for the album, it's called Wide Awake. Peepers you Creepers.

Soulful Sundays: Kool and the Gang - Summer Madness

When my Mom tells me stories about stuff she used to do in College and such, it makes me wish I lived in the 70's sometimes. She said that everything was soooo peaceful, and not just because everyone was smoking opium or whatever hahaha. She said that you really could just do something fun EVERY single weekend ANYWHERE without having to worry about someone fighting, or shooting, or cops breaking it up. Everyone was on some Love Movement Shit. This song to me represents that, SUPER serene, SUPER chillax, SUPER summerTIME. Cats used to just post at the A & W drive-in, or the skating rink parking lot, or just at someone's crib, and whoever had the best system would just turn it up, and they would be out there ALL night.
