Drop-Bomb x GMK presents: Songs for BOMBERS.

This month we are getting a ton of exclusives from the one and only GMK. Now if you remember we interviewed GMK almost an entire year ago. You can say we have an eye for talent. And now in the short few months since, he has skyrocketed into superstardom, with his remix to Boom Boom Pow in rotation at Kube93, and Songs for Bloggers available on iTunes, the sky's the limit for Mr. Lewis. We linked up with him and decided to do a promo push this entire month for SFB and this is the first installment.

DROP-BOMB.COM Present's: SONGS FOR BLOGGERSBOMBERS!!!

The first entry in Songs for Bombers is a motel room cipher GMK did with Sound Magazine. It got Heavy!!!!

Soulful Sundaes: Gnarls Barkley - Mystery Man

The joints the joints. Another one by Walter Robot.

Soulful Sundaes: Death Cab For Cutie - Grapevine Fires

Before we get into this, I gotta say that Death Cab is by far the dopest band out. I need to start incorporating more of their music into the blog, as I feel we've been focusing a bit too much on hip-hop. Death Cab IS Seattle!!!

Now when I FIRST heard this song a month ago...it brought so many emotions to mind. It is a VERY VERY powerful song and has such a deeper meaning than the lyrics themselves. Enlightened symphonies indeed. Undeniably amazing. And I must say that as much as I loved the song, when I saw this video it almost made me cry. If it really IS based on a true story....MAN..Hearts go out is all I have to say. ENJOY.

*DOWNLOAD THIS VIDEO HERE!*

Walter Robot created the masterpiece video for the song, and if you haven't seen any of his other work, I'll be glad to make this weeks Soulful Sundae Robot-HEAVY! Stay tuned kids..and of course..

Welcome to Soulful Sundaes.

Sunday Night Sound Session 204 4/26/09

For those that missed it.

Whatup HYPHEN!

"Another fun night in the SNSS studio as we were joined not only by Seattle legends Jake One and DV One, but by one half of the super production crew Tha Bizness, the big homey Dow Jones. We chopped it up about all the success him and Henny have had over the past few years, what it’s like working with Lil’ Wayne and Drake on their new albums, what they respect in other producers, and much more.
Oh…and we also played some great music from artists like Royce The 5′9″, Brother Ali, U-N-I, Devin The Dude, Elzhi, the Clipse, Blu, Kanye West, and more, but you already know. Peep another world premiere from Tanya Morgan too, as we rocked their joint, “On Our Way.” I think the Pep Love track may also be a premiere…shout to Omid and Otayo for sending that through. Lastly, we aired a snippet of our interview with Chester French, which I’ll be posting up in full on the blog soon. Stay tuned."

Not saying that I have absolutely no love for my big girls, but your body is a temple, and you should treat it as so. With that said, Chrisette is looking SUPER SUPREME these days, she's subtracted a few sizes from her bodily equation and still kept those pretty eyes. Wit a SMOKIN voice to boot.

Imeem has released the album for a few days before it actually comes out in stores. Take a listen, I promise you'll enjoy! May 5th is the official release date. Pick it up, good music conquers ERRRYYYYYTING.
