I Don't Think You Understand The Severity of the Situation

Last night The bomb squad hit up the Red Bull Big Tune Film Screening event and concert. Brainstorm (of Dyme Def) showed the short film of his victory last year in which he got to record and feature on a track with Young Buck. If you don't know what I'm talking about:

Big Tune is the passionate vision and venture of DJ/producer/emcee-Vitamin D and Hip Hop visionary/event producer - Jonathan Moore, which began in 2004 with the purpose of bringing emerging and established talent to the forefront. After three years of hosting thriving local battles in Seattle, they forged a creative partnership with Red Bull. The event evolved beyond a beat battle into what it is today... a dynamic national producer program.

Basically Local Producers battle it out and the top 2 from every city fly to the finals in the NYC. Last Year like I said above Brainstorm won and kicked it with Young Buck. This year Friday is the main event but all throughout they're having little events to show you about the process.

Anyway, the film we watched last night was hilarious and about 10 minutes long. I hate to post like 30 youtube videos at a time, but that's all they have at the moment, so I'm gonna embed one and give you a link to each of the others.

Hometown Heroes: Jae Hoffa - A Millie

This dude is from Seattle and is fuxin wit Young Buck, which means he's probably down with B. Brown who produced the 50 diss track about the phone call. Umm, just search back in our posts. Or check the similar tags, you'll see.

Now here's the deal. This dude is pretty dope, and I love to see that coming from local talent. At the same time. If I hear another mothafucka from Seattle try to claim some hard shit, I'm gonna flip. Seattle IS NOT HARD! Matter fact. Lemme finish this post.

A Fresh BreakDown - G-Unit: T.erminate O.n S.ight

" Nobody gonna miss you anyway, no days off keep the pistol everyday!!"

Just an ironic quote from the song "No Days Off" that's in the CD.  (Oh yea, my boy Ferrari F. 50 makes an appearance in that song too!  Lol, so you know I'm lovin' it.)  Anyway....

This CD starts off with an NWA kinda vibe with the track "Straight Outta SouthSide."  It's like a re-introduction, and everybody gets off on this song.  Yea, even Yayo, and this song really suits our yellin'-all-tha-time rapper.  He gets off  on the up-tempo military-minded beat.  Since it's a compilation CD, I'll break the CD down by the rapper, and since I mentioned Yayo 1st, I'll roll with Yayo.  Do you remember, back in the day, when we were jus hearin' Yayo on "I Smell Pussy."  We thought he was pretty smooth, then we thought otherwise when he got out?  Well, alil' bit of both shows itself in the CD.  His presence helps him alot in these songs, not so much the lyrics, and bein' this is G-Unit, you know it's gonna be alotta murkin' in this CD.  So Yayo gets off on songs like "Casualties of War" (I Mean REALLY, gets off) "Nigga who you tryna ride on, I'ma Icon, heart made of steel, balls made of iron."  Don't sound like much readin' it I'm sure, but wait till you hear it 1st.  Then it's those moments where he's doin' just enough to get by like in songs like "You So Tough," or the single "I Like The Way She Do It."  But damn, who's gonna forget "I make a dolla every time my heart beats..."  Jeeze mayne.  And Its jus those songs where it's the Yayo where we wonder how in fucks name he's even not cut from the song.  I mean..  It jus sounds weird when you start ya verse off wit "Who who who who who want it?!  Who who who who who who want it?!" Like he did on the song T.O.S.  But Overrall, Yayo did a good job as far as I'm concerend, one member didn't take down the quality of the CD.  He even did a pretty nice job on a hook "Money Make the World Go Round."

Now, off to Mr. B-A-N-K-Dollasign $.... Well, what you want me to say?  He came whack?!  You must be stupid if you even thought about that thought!  It's obvious he gets off the most on the CD.  Slick lines all throughout the CD, n when he gets a chance at a hook, he doesn't slack up.  No lazy Lloyd when he's on T.O.S. mode, and a few rap artists catch it with this, "Look how the game changed, it's bad for the system, niggas on game shows, two dudes kissin', listen, we're not the same, we're not for fame, the industry's punked out, we're not to blame."

Next would be the man we all know, love, hate, wanna kill, wanna steal cash from, wanna invest in his money, Curtis Jackson.  Now after his big industry scuffle with Kanye, which he lost as far as in the US ( He actually had more sales outside the states,) whether Fif likes it or not, people are lookin at this CD like another 50 Cent CD.  So the big question is, does the boss orchestrate a good CD, does he look crazy without the help of Young Buck?  Well, if he had 100% control of  production he did a pretty nice job, as far as subject matter, we couldn't expect more than what it was, a few club bangers, lotta kill-a-nigga songs, n some stuntin' kinda songs.  Now on to the important shit, does 50 come through with in the verses?  For the most part yes.  I mean, what can I say but it's either good fif, bad fif, or Ferrari F 50.  And Ferrari F 50 makes two appearances on the CD, and I don't give a fuck what anybody says, when Ferrari F makes an appearance the whole song is better.  But 50 does throw out a few lines towards T.I. and he really asks a question that alot of us (includin' me,) were wonderin'.  On The up-beat grimey soundin' song "You So Tough" Fif goes on to say "What's todays mathematics?  Shit ain't addin' up, get knocked wit 10 machine guns, only get 12 months...  I got the best money lawyers can buy, they say they woulda got me ten, maybe nine. How can you explain how homie breeze, you keep ya mouf shut, or ya eat the cheese!"  Yea...  You know 50 comes with occasional stingers like his opener on "Casualties Of War" he says "Now how did the chicken give birth to the rat, now how did the rat learn how to sing like a bird, his pops is an O.G., this is absured!!"

So to put it bluntly, 50 did a good job makin' a well roudned CD, with great production.  Maybe if he woulda took out a few club songs, n talked 'bout somethin' original, or if he woulda dissed Buck or some shit, it woulda been a more eye poppin' album.  But the CD shows how Banks flow keeps him ahead of the pack lyrically.  (Unless it's Ferrari F.)  Lol.

Album Ratin' - 4.1
Worth Buyin' - Sure, why not?
Favorite Songs - No Days Off, Straight Outta SouthSide, Close To Me, Casualties Of War, You So Tough, Let It Go, Ready Or Not, Money Make the World Go Round

Aftermath: The full 16-Min convo breakdown exposes lies in Buck's retaliation.

Ok.  Buck comes back in a track..  And 50, well, 50 puts out the full 16-minute convo that exposes soft spots in Buck's diss track.

Ok.  Number 1 - Buck says the convo was over a year ago.
*Weeelllll.  In the full 16 minute convo, Buck was explainin' the situation when he was on stage with Lil' Wayne n Baby earlier this year.  THIS YEAR.  To prove it, go youtube it.  Buck has... NO braids, so you know it was this year.

*Also, in the phone Convo, we know that 50 and the Unit were over-seas on tour.  And Buck was no-where to be seen.  That was THIS YEAR as well.

*Buck also apologizes about the comment about not recievin' royalty checks, that also happend THIS YEAR.

Number 2 - Buck says only person to tape phone convos is 5-0
*Didn't Buck admit to tapin' conversations with The Game alil' while back?

Number 3 -Buck says it was a bitch-move
*1st off, BUck said "Fuck G-Unit" 1st, not the other way 'round.  What's wrong with 50 retaliating in this way?

*Well, isn't cryin' n beggin' to stay in a crew in private, then actin' like you was ready to leave in public a bitch move?

*IN the convo, Buck said he should've paid him when he had the money.. Well..  Isn't not payin' back 50 when you had the money a bitch move?

*Buck also stated Sha didn't book him any shows.  Ok, well, 50 offered Buck Yayo's spot for the Canada tour for some money that he could get.  AND he told Buck that he should've told him that sooner.  And Buck givin' his number to the boss, and sayin' "I'm callin' you from my other phone" would mean that he could've been called 50 and tol' him that.

****IN the convo when 50 broke down the whole situation when The Game was flip-floppin', and Buck agree'd with "That's BullShit".  Well, isn't this what Buck is doin' now?

That's a Fresh breakdown.  Straight facts.

Full 16 Minute Phone Call Tape

Young Buck Responds to the Taped Conversation with 50 Cent

Apparently this tape was from a year ago! Buck responds on this song and goes HARDDDDDD! OMFG!

So the first song I guess was recorded before the tape LEAKED. Got it. We'll get it all figured out soon. The full tape is supposed to be released tonight on thisis50.com.

Better yet, this is PRODUCED by local seattle producer BBrown of Sport'N Life Records and Features Seattle's own D. Black on the hook. D. Black also happens to have a major role in the upcoming Seattle Hip-Hop Feature "Emerald City" by Crooked Lake Productions.

Show Seattle LOVE!!!

Man...  I jus can't believe my ears cuz.  I lost alotta respect for Buck.  I guess 50 had this card ready to play if Buck got outta line after he was dumped from the Unit.  (He cries in the 2nd clip.)

You don't act like this behind closed doors and then say "Fuck G-Unit" in public.  Especially cryin' Buck!?  DAMN MAN!
