Funny that Mike would reminisce on some love movement shit today. Last night at the club, mothafuckas outside start screamin and pushin each other. Someone got shoved into me. I just looked at the dude shovin people, held up two fingers and was like "Increase the Peace, man." Homeboy started shoving me. "Go across the street before I punch your ass." "All I said was Increase the peace, man, how you gonna punch me for wantin to be peaceful?" "If you want this shit to stay peaceful you better go across the street. I'm gonna give you 5 seconds" I watched him count down to 0 and of course there's no real climax to this story other than the dude sat there thwarted by a kid half his size. I mean, I kind of figured if it would be way too ironic if he fought me for saying peace that it just wouldn't be possible. That would be some GNARLY SHIT.
I always wondered if hot headed mothafuckas like that go home, sober up in the morning and look at themselves in the mirror on some "I'm a dumbass" Charles Barkley shit. Cuz I guarantee some mothafucka had a nice bark one night. UNTIL THEM SIGNS GO UP IN THE AIR! THATS HOW THE FIGHT STARTS!

I'm feeling nostalgic today, so I decided I'm going to throw some circa 90's and a few other Vintage darts onto the board today. Starting with THIS MAN...

He was the shit in the 90's and his cd Cool Relax was the first cd I ever owned at the age of 10. "They Don't Know" of course was the lead single off the album. His first video from it, and a hella dope song. This was the cut in 97-98.
My PERSONAL favorite off the album, and the best video too, "Whatcha Say Boo(I Do)." Very powerful video and it express a few social issues within it too, read between the lines BOPPERS!!
Now this song, "Shine," was dope too. I feel like it should have had a video as well, or been one of the singles off the album, but the next song was the clear choice..
That song being "R U Still Down" with none other than the late, great, Tupac Amaru Shakur. This song still to this day is one of my all time favorite songs. It's unfortunate that Pac didn't get the chance to make the video with Jon, but nonetheless his presence is felt in it.
This entire album will be on repeat if you play it. You can rock to every single song on it. I haven't had a chance to listen to his recent album that drop last year, but I'll do that soon.

Fresh has got a Story To Tell: Some Madden History
As you know, there are many miracle come-back stories from Madden players all over the country. Well, to keep it in the spirit of Madden-oliday, I've decided to share my own 100% true story just for fun.
Well, I was playin' with my team, The Oakland Raiders (Don't hate), and my opponent had the the Seattle Seahawks. He usually used to play with the Titans, but it was a new year, and a new game, so he rolled with his home-town team. Me, I'm a Raider till I die. Ok anyway, he's basically dominating the whole game. I'm doin' just enough to stay within 21 points. Well, it's 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter, I just scored my 21st point, my opponent had 34 points. So basically I had to kick an onside kick and recover it. Anyone who's played Madden know how tough it is. So I'm one of the lucky ones and get it back. I still had to score though. After a few incomplete passes and one play that was almost picked, I finally scored with 50 seconds left.
Now, I have 28 points, I still need a touchdown in able to get in front. So I had to kick ANOTHER onside kick, and getting two of those in one game when you need it is probably the hardest shit ever. But miracle was on my side it seems because I got it back. Of course my opponent opened his eyes then as he felt the win MAY be slipping away, but chances of me goin' from my 49 to the end zone was still a fat chance. Not to mention I had NO timeouts.. Well.. Rich Gannon was more of an accuracy passer, not your power arm guy. My pro-bowl offensive lineman gets hurt on my 1st down play, so there was no was I could wait for my recievers to get into a route, so Hail-Mary was my only route. 2nd down, I take a heave, incomplete. 3rd down, incomplete. 4th down...
My opponent is in an all-prevent defense, dropped his defensive backs as far in the end-zone as he could. I snap the ball, I dodge one defender that almost sacks my QB. I get close as to the line of scrimmage as possible and heave a ball to Jerry Rice. The ball was under thrown. Instead of just knocking the ball down, my opponent tried to jump and catch the ball..... It bounced off my defender's hands.. Jerry Rice comes from behind him, grabs the tipped ball and dives in the endzone!! And with feild goal kicks being automatic in Madden basically, my opponent was STUNNED. He couldn't believe it. So I ended up winning 35 - 34. Needless to say, my opponent retired from the game of Madden for a WHILE after that.

LOOK OUT FOR DETOX!
You can add DETOX (hopefully) to your Christmas list. According to USA today who interviewed him.
"I'm just now — over the last couple of months — starting to feel that it's going to be right and it's something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it," says Dr. Dre (aka Andre Young). "In a perfect world, I'm shooting for a November or December release."
And what about the future?
"I'm going to put this record out, promote it, tour and then become a hermit. I'm going to stay in the studio and produce."
But he says he isn't interested in producing albums for established artists. Dre says his goal is to find who's next.

Busta Rhymes OFFICALLY off Aftermath
It’s official - Busta Rhymes got dropped from Interscope/Aftermath. It was reported that Busta Rhymes was dropped from Interscope due to a heated argument with Jimmy Iovine. He later confirmed that the album would be released in late September on Aftermath.
“Blessed” is scheduled to release in September.
Aftermath Music contacted the GM of aftermath who confirmed Busta's drop.

Role Model: Keak Da Sneak Arrested
Bay Area rapper Keak Da Sneak was arrested on July 10 and charged with four felony counts.
The arrest occurred around 11 PM in Sacramento, a few hours after Keak had attended a funeral. The apprehension left the Hyphy pioneer with unspecified injuries which he was treated for. Afterward, he was booked on firearms charges and resisting arrest.
Keak remained detained over the past weekend due to a separate outstanding warrant. A Justice Department statement confirmed he appeared before a magistrate judge on Monday July 14. At press time, Keak is scheduled to post bail and be released in the next few days.

If you missed the last post I did on Jesse. Mr. Jackson said that Obama talks down to black people and he wants to cut his nuts off. Except he forgot his microphone was still on. What didn't come out RIGHT AWAY was that he also said he was treating them like "untitled".
If you have a short term memory, and forgot what Jesse said about that particular word and how it applies to Nas album title, allow me to refresh:

That stuff speaks for itself. Jesse Jackson is never going to be taken seriously ever again. Of course he hasn't been for years from many people.
