This looks like a fuckin ridiculous ass club night. This is how it SHOULD be done. Not saying there's no place for t-pain and shit in the club but this is what should be playing more than 50% of the time not once an hour. Baltic room. Sunday. I'm there. You too.

Soulful Sundays: Kool and the Gang - Summer Madness
When my Mom tells me stories about stuff she used to do in College and such, it makes me wish I lived in the 70's sometimes. She said that everything was soooo peaceful, and not just because everyone was smoking opium or whatever hahaha. She said that you really could just do something fun EVERY single weekend ANYWHERE without having to worry about someone fighting, or shooting, or cops breaking it up. Everyone was on some Love Movement Shit. This song to me represents that, SUPER serene, SUPER chillax, SUPER summerTIME. Cats used to just post at the A & W drive-in, or the skating rink parking lot, or just at someone's crib, and whoever had the best system would just turn it up, and they would be out there ALL night.
Take me Back..
Soulful Sundays: Jon B - 4 Track Mix(They Don't Know, Whatcha Say Boo, Shine, R U Still Down)
I'm feeling nostalgic today, so I decided I'm going to throw some circa 90's and a few other Vintage darts onto the board today. Starting with THIS MAN...
NONE OTHER THAN THE GREAT JON B.
He was the shit in the 90's and his cd Cool Relax was the first cd I ever owned at the age of 10. "They Don't Know" of course was the lead single off the album. His first video from it, and a hella dope song. This was the cut in 97-98.
My PERSONAL favorite off the album, and the best video too, "Whatcha Say Boo(I Do)." Very powerful video and it express a few social issues within it too, read between the lines BOPPERS!!
Now this song, "Shine," was dope too. I feel like it should have had a video as well, or been one of the singles off the album, but the next song was the clear choice..
That song being "R U Still Down" with none other than the late, great, Tupac Amaru Shakur. This song still to this day is one of my all time favorite songs. It's unfortunate that Pac didn't get the chance to make the video with Jon, but nonetheless his presence is felt in it.
This entire album will be on repeat if you play it. You can rock to every single song on it. I haven't had a chance to listen to his recent album that drop last year, but I'll do that soon.
Enjoi! Welcome to Soulful Sundays.

Soulful Sundays: Raphael Saadiq - 100 Yard Dash + Love That Girl
Man, I used to love Tony! Toni! Tone`! I'm excited to see Saadiq back at work. His new album is coming soon.
Soulful Sundays: Dilla Ghost Doom
Description: In late 2005 Ghostface Killa and MF DOOM were both recording over tracks from J Dilla's instrumental opus, Donuts, which saw release the following February. Some of these were released on Ghostface's Fishscale in 2006, while others, including a Dilla-Doom project, were postponed indefinitely after J Dilla's passing. Two of these tracks, “Sniper Elite” and “Murder Goons,” are presented here for the first time. The two are taken from two sequential songs off Donuts, meant to mix together. We are presenting the two songs unmixed, plus the two mixed together as a bonus track.
To purchase head to Stones Throw Records
Soulful Sundays: Ciara ft Ludacris - High Price
Luda and Ciara always kill it on the same track. Aside from that, this song is pretty tight.
Ciara ft Ludacris - High Price
Soulful Sundays - Poetry
A poem I read on a friends page..I'm going to call her Anonymous for now.
HELLA Fresh is you ask ME.
It's high stakes now when she rolls
the highway tolls have been taxed by Jones's inflation
a proud Black Nation no longer exists
and although the boot straps of evidence still persists
the honest effort is no longer relevant
only eight figures pay the new cost of rent
forcing fast, luxurious cars to keep pace in haste and ignore the dents
until the green, silver, platinum, and gold is all spent
causing superstar Negros to holla, "Damn!
Where all my money went?"
while in need of cool-headed,financial consulation
and less heated, overemotional stimulation.
ILLogy.
