Signing Shoes: It's gettin' UGLY for Lebron... Stop babying this n***a!

I'm sure everyone has heard by now..  But if you haven't lemme give you a quick run-down.  Lebron invited some young players to his camp.  And during this random pick-up game, this young kid Jordan Crawford bopps on Lebron.  It's 2009, so of course this'll be all over youtube within ten minutes right?  Nope, reportedly, Nike reps that were there snatched up the two cameras that were rollin'.  Now at this level of basketball, you would think it wouldn't even bother him, because y'know it happens, it's apart of the game.  But that clip getting snatched away from the world's eyes is starting to make Lebron the Chris Brown (whom I still like) of the NBA..  And it's hard to make it seem like Lebron wasn't behind him, since one of the camera-men remember the man who D'Bo'd his camera being called over by Lebron before his camera was taken.  And Nike isn't the only company guilty of this, ESPN doesn't like for King James to be on a potential poster.  Especially by people like Carmelo Anthony (the guy who's suppose to be the heel of Lebron since the two came in that year, he's also done it twice).  You also don't see much of Courtney Lee dunkin' on Lebron either.  But this is a disturbing trend that keeps being shown about Lebron.  I don't mean to be Skip Bayless, but he's been saying this for a while now.  Lebron has an ego, and the NBA / ESPN / Nike are guilty of feeding it.  Him not shaking hands with the team that just beat him, even his Olympic team-mate Dwight Howard gettin' the cold shoulder makes it look worse.  What also looks worse is when people claim he did the same thing to the Celtics in last year's playoffs.  Lets not forget how he'll dodge the question about staying in Cleveland when his contract is up.  I said it once, I'll say it again.  With all this stuff coming out, it's becoming hard to root for this guy.  And if it keeps up, Lebron James is gonna be the Chris Brown of the NBA...  Only thing is, Chris only fucked up once, and no one likes to tell his side, but that's neither here or there.

With all that posterizing talk goin' on here are some clips for your enjoyment..

Melo dunkin' on 'Bron in '07 (Sorry, no footage of him doing it in '09)

Skip and the rest of 1st Take responds to Lebron's sportsmanship.

Seriously, Lebron, hating to lose doesn't excuse poor sportsmanship, because that's basically what it is..  As far as the Yankee hat theory, I think Skip's just speculatin'.  But I do believe that Lebron will be wearing a Nets jersey with Chris Bosh when that stadium goes up in Brooklyn.  And we gotta give it to Skip, he always said the Magic would beat the Cavs since the playoffs began.

MVPuppets... The Unstoppable!!!

I can't stand Kobe, or better yet the Lakers.  I also can't stand how the NBA/ ESPN/ Nike/ Vitamin Water/ Everyone who's not a Magic / Nugget fan wants so bad to have Kobe and Lebron in the Finals.  (I fit in that Nugget minority). But, I love these MVPuppet commercials.

Signing Shoes (Playoff Edition) - Chauncey Billups shows his playground skill.

Who says AND1 is dead?  Chauncey passes the ball to himself via Kobe's back, lol.

Highlights from the rest of the game.

And, I'd be wrong if I didn't have those highlights from the Magic / Cavs game.

Basketball is BACK!

I swear, these young boys are raising the bar man...it's starting to feel like the early 90's again!!!! And don't get me wrong..I love the Celtics, that's my second favorite team behind the Pistons. The Bulls happen to be my third, but man....this is crazy. Every series has been pretty good so far, even the ones where teams got sweeped..the competition level has risen. All these younger players are beginning to come into their own. I can't wait til the finals, this makes me uncertain as to who is actually gonna be i them!

That fucking game last night tho....man.

Signing Shoes: Brandon Jennings (NBA Prospect for '09)

Let me tell you this now... You haven't been so excited to see a pass in basketball since Magic muthaf*cka!  Lol.  Anyway.  Brandon Jennings, graduated high school last year, went to the Euro leauge instead of goin' to college for a year.  (Which is actually smarter since he's gettin' better competiton, and, gettin' paid LEAGALLY.)  So he'll be in the draft this year, and he will be a hall-of-fame-player.  Get ready to be amazed!

Clips of him in the Jordan Camp (You only get an invite to a Jordan training camp.)

And these are just highlights that were put together of the man.

And Luda's suppose to have Jay-Z and Nas come out on to the set, and Jay supposively needs 5 good minutes to address some things. Hopefully!!! This is for real, and rap will be interesting again. Let's go bury Nas again Jay, it's the ROC!! ( Last comment made just to make Mr. =!= growl n shit.)

Signing Shoes: Andre Miller gets crossed by Derrick Rose

Since basketball is basically in full swing now, I guess it'd be good to make a good addition to the site.  Everyone likes to see somebody gettin' crossed in the NBA, it's somethin' we don't see often enough since And 1 got so borin', lol.  Anyway.  The 1st addition to Signin' Shoes.  Derrick Rose, the rookie just runs by as Andre politely signs his shoes.

Schultz Drops Sonics Lawsuit

Last April, Schultz sued to regain ownership, contending Bennett failed to carry through on a promise to negotiate in good faith for a new arena in Seattle for one full year. Schultz had hoped to undo the sale so he could initiate a transfer of the team to a buyer who would keep it in Seattle.

"Seattle’s best chance for a professional basketball franchise is to end this litigation and allow the city, state Legislature and other parties to begin the necessary fence mending with the NBA.”

NBA 2K9 Trailer (1 of 4)

It ain't too long till I get back to my sport that I KNOWWW Mike ain't fuckin with me in. lol. (October 17th) He hasn't beat me in nba 2k8 since he was in 3rd grade. lol. Although we did have to end our last game early and it was tied at halftime, he's getting better every time.

Now, as for madden. My victories are gonna come with time. All I got to say is he's lucky as fuck. This idiot had 4 seconds left, down by 4 on my 41 yard line. Tried to line up for a field goal. Bein the good friend that I am. I told him he was down 4. He couldn't call a time out since he was out. I called one for him (saving him 5 VERY IMPORTANT yards). I go to my prevent defense. This mothafucka throws a touchdown pass to win the game at the VERY END of the endzone caught by branch with no steps to spare, over a jumping defender and a guy right next to him.

He then proceeds to SCREAM his head off running up and down three stories of stairs, jumping in the kitchen pantry and closing the door. UN-FUCKING-Believable.

Sonics & Seattle SETTLE LAWSUIT!

WTF MAN. Everything was going good. They were about to announce the decision today... We were about to keep the team probably, or if we lost, we lost in the heat of battle. You don't just fucking GIVE IN! NO! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER! (c)Galaxy Quest

FUCK!

I guess this is what it feels like to have an abortion.

I hate the fact even more that it's on some bullshit. Like, if they tried to build a new stadium or tried to work with us on something besides a brand new ultra spectacular $500 million thing for a playoff team that the new owners PURPOSLY BLEW THE FUCK UP!

When the Bulls stole Pippen from us they didn't get rid of Michael Jordan and Charles Oakley too. It takes more than one person to make a championship team.

MSNBC Sports

The City of Seattle and the Sonics have reached a settlement in their lawsuit, according to a report in The Seattle Times.

According to the report, the team will be allowed to leave for Oklahoma City for a payment of $75 million. The team will not have to pay the entire amount if the city is awarded another NBA team.

A judge was set to rule on Wednesday whether the team could buy its way out of its lease and move to Oklahoma City immediately, or if it had to play out the remaining two years of its lease in Seattle. But Judge Marsha Pechman confirmed Wednesday that a settlement had been reached. She told The Times that she would let the parties involved announced the terms of the settlement.

Well, I hope they take the $75 Million and fix the god damn traffic situation out here. Shit. It's starting to look like L.A. in this bitch. I wouldn't mind if it was 75 every day like this week but it's not. And fix the viaduct before it breaks and falls, and fix the 520 before it breaks and sinks.
