So..unfortunately for Drew Down and the rest of the senior class at Bayside..Miller has decided to discontinue selling Sparks Alcoholic Energy Beverage. Peep the newsflash below.
"MillerCoors LLC has come under fire recently by over a dozen states for the sale of alcoholic energy drinks such as their lead seller, Sparks.
The original complaint was that the addition of caffene and other ingredients to alcohol would decrease the drinkers sense of intoxicaion, and increase the risk of driving dangers. Also that they were sick of the wimp drinkers who couldnt handle a real beer or a shot of hard liquor.
Okay, maybe not that second part. Actually, Sparks is stronger than most cans of beer, but the attorney generals are worried that it promotes underage drinking because of it’s candy flavor and the fact it looks like any other energy drink.
The Milwaukee-based company says it will remove caffeine, taurine, guarana and ginseng from Sparks and will not produce caffeinated alcohol beverages.
So does this mean that when this all happens ‘Sparks’ will just be another malt liquor?
St. Louis based company Anheiser Busch has alredy stated that they would reformulate their Tilt and Budweiser Extra beverages to be removed of all of these energy ingredients as well."

Forsett, Kent, and Plackemeier Punted!
The Seattle Seahawks have released running back Justin Forsett, receiver Jordan Kent and punter Ryan Plackemeier, the team announced this afternoon. The team also placed receiver Nate Burleson on injured reserve and signed punter Jon Ryan to replace Plackemeier on the roster.
Ryan spent two seasons in Green Bay where he punted in 32 games, averaging 44.5 yards per punt. Prior to his stint with the Packers, he punted for two years with the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
I assume this is part 1 of the announcement. We surely would not cut a receiver and only have 2 healthy receivers for our next game. lol. Hopefully the 2 clear waivers and we can stick them on our practice squad because Forsett impressed the hell out of everyone in pre season, and Kent was holmgren's favorite WR prospect did that change becase he couldn't even catch a cold last sunday?
Stay tuned for more news.

Seattle Weekly Reviews Emerald City
At times during the making of this film. I felt like we were the only ones who understood the movie and movement we (mostly Henry) wanted to create, but at other times I felt like the story was too good to be ignored. A review from an unbiased third party is very exciting. Especially a positive one.
Emerald City revolves around the recurring vision of main character Elijah, also known as MC Ellipsis. The vision visits Elijah’s childhood in Louisiana, the death of his brother and the mic that he can’t imagine losing. I had a chance to see the film, and the excitement and plot that McComas comfortably fits into the span of 13 minutes is stunning.
It may be short, but the attention to detail is immaculate. The film’s visuals are subtly but purposely altered to fit the mood and the action; some scenes are smooth and flowing, others a little fuzzy around the edges and others gritty and choppy. And, of course, music fits mood immaculately. Featuring local hip-hop scene leaders such as Kublakai, D. Black and Logics, Emerald City is something that represents and speaks for the city. With parts of the film’s creation taking place in nearly every neighborhood in Seattle, the message of the city is embedded deep within.
Don't forget, if you like Beer and want to see the film, the local bar is hosting a special screening. Guaranteed standing room only, so wear some comfy sneaks. August 22, 8 p.m., Box Car Ale House, 3401 Gilman Avenue West
